Peenko presents was a roaring success at the Tea Party's second event in the Hidden Lane Cafe. Paul Carlin's side project got the evening off to a great start with their live debut, and all the guests were roundly appreciative of the glorious Burnt Islands set of beautiful melancholy. Here is Burnt Islands set in full, with Ghost Pants to follow very shortly!

Paul McGranaghan was his usual, excellent self on Saturday night and he had everyone enthralled with his sweet voice. Paul is a very talented song writer and a great performer, as well as being an all round good guy, and it is always enjoyable watching Paul do his thing live!!

We played our first real gig on Saturday night at my new Tea Party event. The Hidden Lane Cafe is such an amazing venue, and Martin kinnaird, Paul McGranaghan and Shambles miller were all fantastic. For us it was a fairly mixed bag, I had some 'issues' with new equipment and, lets be honest, singing. In my defence I have had a cold, but no excuses, we were patchy and it was all my fault. Alex on the other hand was wonderful as always, as can be witnessed on this video.
